Raised in Hollywood, California, Marina was exposed to fashion at a very young age her mother and grandmother. With her mother’s influence and access to countless designer treasures, she developed a very strong passion for vintage and all things glamorous. She started her career as a model and actress in New York City. After winning the beauty pageant title for Miss. Jr Teen New York, Marina and her parents moved back to sunny California.
An avid fan of old Hollywood glamour since childhood, Marina decided to undertake a new challenge in Los Angeles where she merges the worlds of celebrity fashion, Hollywood and LA Fashion Week after working in the fashion and entertainment world of New York City. Immediately, Marina made a name for herself amongst celebrities and high profile personalities by singlehandedly bringing the Old Hollywood glamoure and today’s contemporary movement into fruition. Her love and knowledge of haute couture coupled with her desire to create the unexpected red carpet moments by adding color, prints and avant-garde trends made her the go-to stylist for the Hollywood elite. With unprecedented success in red carpet dressing, Marina’s clients became a fixture on countless best-dressed lists in both fashion and mass media outlets.
In September of 2012, Marina launched her fashion news site www.LAFashionJudge.com. A dynamic, engaging online resource that offers the readers commentaries on the hottest celebrity trends, runway reports, best fashion moments, the scoop on LA Fashion Week.
She has been on countless “most influential” lists from many domestic and international fashion publications. She is the recipient of numerous prestigious industry awards including. In 2013, HAYER, and Armenian-American magazine recognized Marina as the “Most Influential Stylist” Armenina-American woman and the following year, Marina was recognized as the “Hollywood Style Mogul” by International HAT TRICK Magazine based in London, United Kingdom.
Marina is happily married and her husband, Arman knows as “Mr.Magz” reside in Los Angeles with their three children, Katrina, Isabella and John.
On top of it all, Marina BerBeryan is a humanitarian who strongly belives in helping others and also teaches her children the iportance of helping others. Some of the charities that she continues to help and support including her own are Sima’s Wish, benefiting the National Breast Cancer Foundation, dedicated to her mother-in-law who was a victim of breast cancer. Marina’s children also have a charity of their own called, Kids Helping Kids, benefiting Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles and Rose and Alex PiIibos School; NoH8 Campaign; sponsors Serenity Sleep Labs to raise awareness of the silent killer – Sleep Apnea (wwwGR8SLEEP.com); and annually supports The Lancaster Opera House in New York City for “Kick Up Your Heels”; The American Heart Association;Project S.A.F.E and T.O.U.C.H; We Care for Humanity Armenian Telethon along with various fundraising events and activities
When Marina is not busy working she enjoys spending time with her family, she loves watching movies and reading books, shopping at vintage boutiques, and collecting antiques.
