Minions Family Fun Friday at MGN Five Star Cinema.
The yellow carpet rolled out on July 11, 2015 in anticipation of the “Minions” movie release at the MGN Five Star Cinema in Glendale, CA.
My minions, Katrina, Isabella and John Magzanyan along with their friends Lilit and Talar joined us for the “Minions Family Fun” including other fun activities, complimentary popcorn, yellow carpet photos, and so much more!
It was our very first time attending the MGN Five Star Cinema and the experience was incredible. I really wish we have MGN Five Star Cinemas in every city and state!
It was a friendly and trendy atmosphere. Service was outstanding, employees were helpful. The seats were the main stars of the theater with cushy and clean reclining seats and a table, yes a table! MGN Five Star Cinema is a luxury dine-in movie theater — isn’t that ahhh-mazing?! You can watch the movie sitting in the most comfortable reclining seat and dine at the same time! My minions were beyond excited!
As for the “Minions” movie directed by Pierre Coffin and Kyle Balda, it’s the story of Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment’s Minions where begins at the dawn of time. Starting as unique looking yellow characters who speak gibberish. Minions evolve through the ages, perpetually serving the most despicable of masters. Continuously unsuccessful at keeping these masters-from T. rex to Napoleon-the Minions find themselves without someone to serve and fall into a deep depression. But one Minion named Kevin has a plan, and he-alongside teenage rebel Stuart and lovable little Bob-ventures out into the world to find a new evil boss for his brethren to follow. The trio embarks upon a thrilling journey that ultimately leads them to their next potential master, Scarlet Overkill (Academy Award (R) winner Sandra Bullock), the world’s first-ever female super-villain. They travel from frigid Antarctica to 1960s New York City, ending in mod London, where they must face their biggest challenge to date: saving all of Minionkind…from annihilation.
